For years my clients have found peace and transformational healing from the meditations I share with them during my Reiki sessions. They always ask me if I have them recorded anywhere, to which I always said, “Not yet!”
I am happy to announce that this past weekend I spent the day recording 12 transformative and empowering meditations for you! I am confident that these breathing exercises, affirmations, and guided visualizations will be relevant for you whether you are a beginner to meditation, or a seasoned practitioner.
Look for the album on my new website which launches in May!
For years I have intended to create a recorded album of meditations for my clients. It was one of those things that I seemed to put on the back burner as I had never recorded anything before, and being the DIY (do it yourself) type person I am, it felt like a big undertaking.
The past 6 months have been a lesson in surrender and trust for me. I have built this entire website myself, and 6 months ago, I enlisted the help of a web designer to create a WHOLE new site for me. One that can take me to a new level in sharing my work with the world. It felt like a better time than any to step even more out of my comfort zone and create this album.
And so, I did what any DIYer would do…I purchased a microphone, called up a friend, and tried to record on my own. I spent a whole day trying to record the meditation, and it didn’t work out. I came home from the office that night in tears.
The next morning, I asked the Universe what to do about this and the answer I received was, “Hire someone to do it.” I know, it seems like a no-brainer, but this was huge for me. I had to surrender and trust someone else to help my vision manifest.
I decided to trust this message, and yesterday, I went to the recording studio and laid down 12 meditations that I know are powerful, helpful, and needed in the world. It was the perfect set up for me. I had my own room, turned all the lights off, placed my crystals all around me, and used my essential oils. I got into my meditative space, and spent 5 hours recording.
This would have taken me weeks to create on my own, and I could assure would not sound nearly as good as letting the recording engineer do his magic. And so, the lesson for me has been to delegate, surrender, and trust. Let the professionals share their expertise and gifts with me just as I share my gifts of healing with others.
I am beyond excited to share these meditations with you when my new website launches in May!
